Submitting assignments: options: hard copy or electronic file your choice…

If you submit an electronic file, please do it using “Box”. This is a free, on-line file sharing system run within the University system.

I will invite each of you to share an individual folder in Box with me.

I will grade the homework and place comments in your folder. If necessary

you can resubmit corrected homeworks in the folder.

To facilitate my grading, please label your assignments by assignment #, your name, date, redo (if that is the case) e.g. #1Smith 9-12-13

Rules:

1. Must be handed in on time: class time the day it is due

2. Only 1 regrade: submit within 2 weeks of receiving graded assignment

3. Must be neat and legible

4. Use appropriate number of significant figures.

5. Numbers must have units…almost no exception

Advice: Do assignment before intervening lecture so that you can ask questions and hand in the final assignment at lecture time when it is due. Assignments are worth a great deal…take them seriously…they are the best preparation for exams.
