CLFS 510 Concepts in Modern Biology

This was a really good course and I appreciated all the help from the professors and the members of my group. I liked the manner in which the course was organized.

During this course, I learned information that I was able the use in my own classes the next day several weeks in a row. Material shared by other students was helpful.

I think any Biology teacher that doesn't have a degree uniquely suited to teaching high school Biology would benefit from this type of class regardless of whether or not they could pass an entrance exam.

I enjoyed CLFS 510 very much. The internet approach was a new experience for me but one that I am looking forward to doing again. Yes, there were a few problems with the set up but those were all worked out in what I felt was an acceptable and timely manner. I appreciated the fact that when a problem did arise that many resources were employed to solve it (i.e. my difficulty with the drop box). I think now that the class is set up that it should run fairly smoothly. This is a program that I have been highly recommending to other teachers for its many outstanding qualities and the patience and attention received from the staff.
